I bought this camera to watch who is coming to my front door. It's practically no set up, just plug it into your Tv and go! You can also connect it to your pc if you have a DVR card.
This camera sees clearly the whole front yard, plus accross the street.Way much better then I thought it would be. I can see clear who is outside, in my front door, even at night. The camera has IR lights to see at night, in black and white. This camera is cheap, but operates terrific. It deserves the most beneficial rating. I could not have been happier.

I bought a DVR program from somewhere else that came with bullet style daytime color/blackwhite night vision cameras. But the camera angel was not wide adequate for the area I wanted coverage on. This camera was my answer. It covered the whole front yard from a high point on a single story dwelling. The video footage is on par or slightly less that that of a regular video camera. Plus the viewing top quality was much greater that the cameras the DVR method came with (once more I did not acquire the DVR System at Amazon). Which to me is ideal for the average single story spending budget strapped homeowner. I like how the housing covers the wiring to avoid someone tampering with it. It is significantly much less noticeable than the bullet style. You can even paint the housing to match your residence color. General I was happy with the camera's performance price that I purchased a further one.
You might want extra cables or adapters depending on your setup use. I ended up needing a male BNC to Female Video RCA adapter to operate with my set up. Have enjoyable!
I haven't had a opportunity to view it's night vision ability but I am certain it really is will be fine. I will update once I locate out.
